arak did the longest nose manual any of us have seen on a fixed gear and jk did his best ines brunn. it was awesome, and now i get to wear that damn bag for a month!

Papa's got a brand new frame!

I got a 56cm Scattante track frame off craigslist yesterday from a righteous cat over at Performance Bikes. It's nothing special, but I don't want to be riding Yoshimi all day everyday; I want something more practical for my daily commute downtown. Plus, I wanted something I could attempt a few tricks on without loosing my life savings... slight exaggeration, but you get my point. The frame also came with a b.a. carbon fiber fork, which is not the fork I'll be tricking on, but still it'll be nice to have a light ass fork for a while.

Cielo by Chris King

So this may clear up some of the confusion on Ahlee's earlier post about Chris King and coming out with internal headsets.

As many of you know, Chris King has always been the biggest critic of internal and integrated headsets ever. This really perplexed a lot of us when they announced their production of an internal headset. Well, here is the reason:



Chris King recently introduced their frame line called Cielo.
They're super nice looking bikes and are all built by Chris King himself.

As of now, they have their steel road bike and an AWESOME cross bike in their arsenal.





Chances are their newly introduced internal headset is for their aluminum track bike that will be making its premier later this year.
The track bike looks really nice and kinda resembles a Cinelli Vigorelli... I'll track down the photo later for you guys.

So you'll be hearing a lot of news about these bikes later in the year when they hit stores in August.
Check out their website for more info and stats on their models and their new hubs... I bet you guys didn't know that Chris King made hubs, huh? haha!
